Registrations for the 7th World Recreational Fishing Conference resonates around the world
Brazil entered once for the agenda of world events in 2014. The 7th World Recreational Fishing Conference (WRFC) will take place from 1st to 4th September 2014, at Unicamp, in Campinas, and is already open for registrations and sponsorships. Attendees and communicators from 30 countries of five continents have confirmed their presence.
The event is one of the most important issues on foreign fishing websites. The 7th WRFC is backed by various local and international institutions. Among them: Brazilian Ministry of Fishing and Aquaculture (MPA), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), the Brazilian Art and Science in Recreational Fishing (Pescarte).
The WRFC is in its seventh edition, and Brazil was chosen to host the event for the first time. In addition to four major international keynote addresses delivered by renowned professionals like Nigel Lester, Rubinho Almeida Prado, Robert Arlinghaus and Julian Pepperell, the event also will hold other academic, cultural and leisure activities, such as sightseeing tours and technical visits. It is probable that a Boating & Recreational Fishing Fair will be organized as well. It is expected that the conference will attract more than 1000 people, including researchers, businessmen, professionals and amateurs of this sport that is constantly improving and now boosts a billionaire market all over the world.
